Dog Sports Liability Waiver and Release

 

 

By purchasing a ticket or registering for this event, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk: I understand that participation in dog sports involves risks such as dog bites, falls, obstacles, equipment failure, and unpredictable behavior from dogs and other participants. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in this event.

2. Health and Safety: I affirm that my dog is in good health, up-to-date on vaccinations, and physically capable of participating in this event. I also confirm that I will maintain control of my dog at all times and follow all event rules and guidelines.

3. Release of Liability: I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, and personal representatives, waive and release [Event Organizer/Non-Profit Name], its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliated entities from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from my participation in this event, including any claims of negligence.

4. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless [Event Organizer/Non-Profit Name] and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or costs (including attorney’s fees) resulting from my participation or my dog’s actions during the event.

5. Medical Treatment Authorization: In the event of an emergency, I authorize event organizers to secure medical treatment for myself or veterinary care for my dog at my expense.

6. Photography & Media Release: I grant permission for photographs and video recordings taken during the event to be used for promotional purposes without compensation.

By completing my registration or purchase, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this waiver and voluntarily agree to its terms.
